We all encounter our own storms in life, those tough times that push us to dig deeper, to find strength that we never thought we had. The cow and the buffalo metaphor provides insight on handling those storms. A cow, runs away from the storm trying to evade the fatality. potentially spending more time in the storm's unpleasantness. Whereas, on the other hand, a buffalo runs right into it. Getting to the other side with more strength and resilience.
Below the bison’s head is a small abstract bronze base that adds a dynamic feeling to this work and represents the unseen, unpredictable changes. The base’s fluid, abstract lines suggest the turbulence and complexity of life’s storms, while the powerful bison head above it anchors the piece. Combined, the two elements create a visual story of struggle and triumph.
